先把 FrontRow.app 放在兩個資料夾, 一個是放在應用程式裡面，一個則是放在「 Core Services」 folder 裡面


(hardrive -> 系統 -> 資源庫 -> core services)




接下來把下載檔案中的 "BezelServices.framework" 資料夾放到 「PrivateFrameworks 」folder 裡


(hdd -> 系統 -> 資源庫 -> private frameworks)


如果放不進去的話，就點「驗證」然後輸入密碼就可以了！


如果不能蓋上去…就先把原本的東西丟到垃圾筒吧




Then Restart 然後重新開機…




最後在放上 Front Row app ，可以放在任何你想放的地方…然後執行它！




在左上角可以看到一個「Fonrt Row」表示正在執行中…




然後持續把 ESC 按著約五秒…就可以看到啦~好好享用吧~

一、想用手機的


1.sony Ericsson手機可以用藍芽 把裡面的Front_Row.hid 丟到手機跟目錄下


上傳玩後會自動執行 之後會在藍芽"遙控功能"裡看到Front_Row的選項與界面


（還故意畫一個白色Front_Row界面,可惜沒相機拍不了）.




ps:可惜的是 應該可以直接由手機呼叫程式Front Row start,因為有這選項,但我沒試成功


都要先讓程式 先到前端後 按下藍芽"遙控功能"Front_Row的選項的menu 才能啟動


2.內建的desktop 也可以直接遙控,不過要自己用滑鼠啟動後,才能進去遙控

__Install Instructions__




STEP 1


‧ Copy "Front Row.app" to /Applications folder


‧ Copy "Open Front Row.app" to /Applications folder


‧ Alternatively use "Open Front Row (Script) with Xkeys (below)


‧ BezelServices.framework to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/




-〉 Make a backup just in case!


-〉 You will need to authorize to be able to replace it.




** Detailed instructions below if you have problems with this step. **




STEP 2


‧ Open System Preferences -> Universal Access


‧ Make sure "Enable access for assistive devices" is CHECKED




STEP 3 (Optional)


‧ Go to macupdate and download the program named Xkeys. It is freeware.

‧ Once you have the file downloaded, install it and then open it up. Inside the program, configure your F8 key to run your Open Front Row application.


‧ OR, if you don't want any app to show up in your dock, it can


run the script version instead.




STEP 4


‧ Add "FrontRow.app" to your login items. NOT "Open Front Row.app"




-〉 System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items




STEP 5


Reboot your computer. When it turns back on, press the F8 key and hopefully you will be experiencing Front Row! Pressing any key (F8/esc) will close Front Row.




CONTROLLING FRONT ROW:


Enter/Space = Select/Play/Pause


Esc = Go Back


Arrow keys = navigation


Cmd up/down = volume up/down

** DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING BEZELFRAMEWORK **




Some people may have problems with the PrivateFrameworks part, so here is how to do it:




1. Open Terminal


2. Backup the /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/BezelServices.framework folder (Just in case)


3. Delete the contents of the original folder (leave the copy alone)


4. Do this in Terminal:

sudo rmdir /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/BezelServices.framework/




5. Copy the BezelServices.frameworks (/FrontRow/FrontRow/BezelServices.frameworks) folder from the FrontRow folder to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/BezelServices.framework


6. Restart computer




And there you have it. .nip:.




In the FrontRow iTunes, enter is select/play/pause. Up/Down arrow keys are volume controls and are used to scroll. The right and left arrow keys are for skipping forward and backwards between songs. The escape key will bring you back to the previous menu.




I have a eMac G4 with 768MB RAM, and a 1GHz processor and this runs perfectly, so it should work on any G4, probably not very well on G3's though.

You can not control Front Row with mouse. It is not a hack of Front Row. It is native Front Row like on any Mac with Apple Remote.




With this driver "SystemUIServer" think that there is Apple Remote in computer and let you to run Front Row.




You can use Salling Clicker to control Front Row with Bluetooth (Wi-Fi) mobile phone (or HPC)
